Calico & Candles
In 1994, when the current premises became vacant, a group of local women came together with the idea of forming a craft shop. After months of planning, meetings, and preparations, Harrow Calico and Candles Craft Shop was born.
Over the years, members and volunteers have come and gone, but a few of the original members still dedicate their time to keeping the shop running alongside new helpers.
Today, around 10 of the original 76 life members remain active, with 20 annual members and 15 dedicated volunteers who help keep the doors open, though new members or volunteers are always welcome. From sales commissions, the shop has proudly donated nearly $20,000 back into the Harrow community since its inception.
Offering a diverse range of crafts, plants, and fresh produce, the shop continues to be a cherished part of the local area.
